Scott established his own consulting firm – S.M.Bourke & Associates – in late 2001 following a successful twelve (12) year career in corporate law, investment banking and institutional investment management.
Since the inception of the firm, Scott has developed an extensive track record advising corporate and government clients on strategic/project alliances, strategic and business planning, governance (public, corporate and project) and organizational development (organizational design, performance management, strategic team development and change management).

Over and above undergraduate academic qualifications in law and business, Scott holds post-graduate qualifications in applied finance and a doctorate in business administration (strategy, innovation and organisational change) from the Australian Graduate School of Entrepreneurship. He has also attained Practitioner level certification in Prince2 and MSP and is an accredited Gateway Review Panel Member and Team Leader (OGC – Victorian Government Accreditation Process).
